On August 24, 2026, Microquanta Semiconductor secured a landmark public tender from the Zhejiang Provincial Energy Group for the development of the "Quzhou--1" 100 MW perovskite solar farm in China. This initiative marks the largest utility--scale implementation of single--junction perovskite technology globally. The project will deploy Microquanta's high--stability, large--area modules, which recently demonstrated a 19.2% conversion efficiency. The agreement includes a long--term power purchase agreement (PPA) and positions perovskite as a viable competitor for large--scale grid--connected applications.
