ASML Holding NV and Samsung Electronics formalized a strategic agreement on July 20, 2026, to co--invest in a new High--NA EUV research facility in Hwaseong, South Korea. The joint center will focus on process integration for 2nm logic nodes and advanced GAA (Gate--All--Around) transistor architectures. This partnership is expected to reduce the time--to--market for Samsung's next--generation foundry services while providing ASML with critical field data to refine its EXE:5200 system performance.
