(NASDAQ: SHLS) announced on June 30, 2026, the launch of its "BLA--K" (Big Lead Assembly -- Kesterite) system, the first specialized electrical balance of system (EBOS) solution optimized for Kesterite thin--film utility--scale projects. The "BLA--K" integrates proprietary "Active--Grounding" technology to mitigate potential--induced degradation (PID) specific to CZTS chemical profiles. Shoals stated that this pre--manufactured solution reduces on--site wiring labor by 25% and enhances the long--term reliability of earth--abundant solar installations by providing real--time monitoring of leakage currents at the string level.
