Nvidia and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced a strategic collaboration to develop "Project Olympus," a massive cloud infrastructure project featuring 100,000 Vera Rubin AI accelerators. This initiative marks the first large--scale commercial deployment of the Vera Rubin architecture, which utilizes advanced liquid--cooling and the next--generation NVLink 6 interconnect. The multi--year agreement ensures AWS has priority access to Nvidia's 2027 production capacity, aimed at supporting the training of next--generation foundation models with over 10 trillion parameters.
