On September 14, 2026, GGB announced the commercial release of "TriboShield TS2000," a high--performance thermoplastic coating engineered for heavy--duty applications in the agricultural and construction sectors. The technology utilizes a proprietary polymer matrix to achieve a stable friction coefficient of 0.06 without the need for external lubrication. By eliminating grease requirements, the coating prevents environmental contamination and reduces maintenance intervals for pivot points and hydraulic cylinders. GGB confirmed that the first industrial--scale pilot will commence at the Agritechnica Summit in Hanover on November 12, 2026.
