On October 21, 2026, Google Cloud and OpenAI announced a strategic partnership to integrate OpenAI's frontier artificial intelligence models and Codex agentic workflows into Google Cloud's Model Garden. The agreement allows Google Cloud enterprise customers to natively license and deploy OpenAI models alongside Google's Gemini family within their existing infrastructure environments. The models will be transactable through Google Cloud Marketplace, permitting enterprise clients to apply existing cloud spend commitments directly toward OpenAI model workloads.
