On September 13, 2026, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry unveiled the "Indo--Pacific Digital Trade Framework," a $10 billion strategic policy designed to subsidize domestic technology firms expanding into Southeast Asian markets. This macroeconomic initiative aims to mitigate the trade imbalances resulting from the West Asia War and solidify India's position within the "Global South Mediation Bloc." The framework includes the establishment of "Digital Innovation Hubs" in Singapore and Jakarta, with the first round of project funding scheduled for disbursement on November 1, 2026.
