Knowledge graph - Scientific news
On June 2, 2026, enterprise AI orchestration and governance platform provider Airia announced major updates to its Context Engineering solution, introducing Graph RAG with customizable knowledge graphs, an enterprise semantic layer, and a Knowledge MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server. The platform tackles a pervasive enterprise bottleneck where standard vector--based retrieval--augmented generation (RAG) fails on queries requiring synthesis across disparate business repositories, complex compliance policies, and interdependent product lines. By mapping unstructured documents into domain--specific entity ontologies at ingestion, the system allows Large Language Models (LLMs) to traverse structural relationships and conduct multi--hop reasoning that conventional semantic similarity searches miss. Additionally, the Knowledge MCP Server exposes the knowledge graph directly to external LLM agents as standard callable tools, facilitating governed, multi--step context retrieval across secure corporate data environments.
