(SHA: 601012) announced on June 4, 2026, the launch of its "Hi--MO K" series, a commercial--grade solar module utilizing a proprietary Kesterite--antimony (CZTS--Sb) alloy. This new material composition addresses the "VOC deficit" (open--circuit voltage) typically associated with Kesterite cells, enabling a certified module efficiency of 21.2%. The company highlighted that the use of antimony as a dopant significantly improves carrier lifetime and reduces non--radiative recombination. LONGi plans to integrate this technology into its utility--scale offerings to provide a more sustainable, heavy--metal--free alternative to traditional thin--film products, targeting the European and North American markets.
