The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has approved a product information update for Wegovy® injection, allowing the medication to be distributed at controlled temperatures of up to 30°C for a period of 48 hours. This regulatory shift makes Wegovy the first GLP--1 weight--management treatment in the European Union to bypass strict cold--chain requirements during the final delivery stage, a move expected to reduce logistics costs and facilitate the expansion of discrete home--delivery and e--health options.
