Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW) announced on September 11, 2026, that it has been awarded a contract by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to provide a primary antenna for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) QuickSounder mission. Redwire will design and manufacture a high--gain X--band antenna, which is a critical component for the mission's data downlink capabilities. QuickSounder is the first project under NOAA’s Near--Earth Orbit Network (NEON) program, aimed at demonstrating a new generation of small, agile environmental satellites to improve weather forecasting and climate monitoring.
