On June 8, 2026, Swift Solar announced the successful closing of a $30 million Series A extension funding round. The capital is earmarked for the transition from pilot--scale to commercial--scale manufacturing of its all--perovskite tandem solar modules. These lightweight, flexible modules are specifically engineered for mobile power applications, including electric vehicles (EVs) and portable power stations. Alongside the funding, the company unveiled a new prototype of a vehicle--integrated photovoltaic (VIPV) roof that achieved a record--breaking 26.5% efficiency for a flexible thin--film device.
