On May 23, 2026, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) announced the operational launch of its first "zero--carbon" intelligent logistics park in Ningde, China. The facility utilizes a proprietary microgrid combining 50 MW of solar capacity with "TENER" energy storage units to power autonomous electric heavy--duty trucks. This initiative serves as a pilot for the company's broader commitment to achieve carbon neutrality in its core operations by 2025 and throughout its supply chain by 2035.
