On July 15, 2026, South Korean materials specialist MSWay and Australian manufacturer Halocell Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the commercialization of flexible perovskite solar cells. Under the agreement, MSWay will supply its proprietary Flexible Transparent Electrode (FTE) technology for integration into Halocell’s roll--to--roll (R2R) manufacturing processes. The partnership aims to accelerate the production of lightweight, high--efficiency modules specifically designed for the IoT, portable electronics, and building--integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) markets.
