- Customer Sampling Program: GMG dispatched the initial batch of ~1.5 Ah pouch--format cells—engineered for full six--minute fast charging—targeting early evaluation by prospective industrial partners in key sectors including defence and heavy mobile equipment.
- Technology & Manufacturing Partnerships: The next--generation graphene aluminium--ion battery technology is developed under a Joint Development Agreement with Rio Tinto, supported by cell assembly at the Battery Innovation Center (BIC) in Indiana and proprietary graphene materials produced at GMG's Brisbane Battery Development Centre.
- Validation Toward Commercialization: Operating at Battery Technology Readiness Level 4 (BTRL 4), the sampling program allows potential end users to independently validate fast--charge capability, cycle stability, and energy efficiency under proprietary duty cycles to guide future commercial scale--up.
