Perovskite Tech news
On October 20, 2026, EQCELL, a subsidiary of South Korea's Hyulim Robot, secured a $7 million equipment supply order for a commercial perovskite solar cell mass--production line from an undisclosed global energy corporation. Under the contract, EQCELL will provide its proprietary New Plasma Source (NPS) system for transparent conductive oxide (TCO) electrode deposition. Engineered to process ultra--large glass substrates exceeding 1,200 mm by 2,400 mm—the largest dimensions currently handled in the perovskite sector—the equipment transition marks EQCELL's formal expansion from pilot--line R&D manufacturing into full commercial--scale supply. Final delivery and on--site installation are scheduled for completion in the first half of 2027.
