Archer Materials Limited (ASX: AXE) announced on September 9, 2026, that it has achieved a technical milestone in the development of its 12C--carbon--based quantum computing chip. The company successfully demonstrated the integration of graphene--based control electrodes with its carbon nanosphere qubits at room temperature. This breakthrough validates the scalability of the technology and reduces the complexity of quantum--classical interfacing.
