Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW) announced on September 7, 2026, that it has been awarded a $24 million contract by the European Space Agency (ESA) to provide its proprietary Roll--Out Solar Array (ROSA) technology for the "Skylark" Earth observation constellation. The agreement covers the design and delivery of high--efficiency solar wings specifically optimized for Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) operations. This contract will be executed through Redwire’s European facilities, strengthening the company's market share in the European civil and defense space sectors. Management noted that this award further validates the scalability of ROSA technology for large--scale satellite constellations.
