Planet Labs PBC Stock watching
On October 13, 2026, Planet Labs PBC (NYSE: PL) announced that its subsidiary, Sinergise Solutions d.o.o., was selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) to develop the Slovenia Space Resilience Node (SRN). Operating under Element 2 of ESA's European Resilience from Space Earth Observation program, the 12--month pilot project will construct a prototype that automates the link between wide--area satellite change detection and targeted high--resolution imaging for Slovenia's Administration for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief. Developed in collaboration with software firm Lucis d.o.o., the system analyzes open Copernicus data alongside continuous PlanetScope imagery to detect environmental anomalies and trigger automated tasking across Planet's Pelican constellation, initially focusing on national wildfire management.
