On October 29, 2026, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) and Dongfeng Motor signed a group--level strategic cooperation agreement to co--develop an integrated ultra--fast charging and battery--swapping ecosystem. Under the partnership, the companies plan to engineer next--generation charging solutions featuring 10C--and--above charging speeds for vehicle brands including Voyah, M--Hero, and Epikland. The collaboration also encompasses shared battery--swapping architectures across passenger and commercial vehicle lines, alongside joint expansion into overseas production, supply chains, and after--sales networks.
