On June 8, 2026, Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced the operational commencement of its 2,000 MW wind--solar hybrid power plant in Rajasthan. This project is currently the largest single--site hybrid renewable energy installation globally. By integrating "cutting--edge bifacial solar technology and high--capacity wind turbines," the plant aims to optimize grid stability and land utilization. This milestone increases the company's operational portfolio to nearly 13 GW, reinforcing its trajectory toward a 45 GW capacity by 2030. The facility is projected to offset 4.2 million tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
