Project management news from around the world
On February 24, 2026, the University of Cambridge published research in the International Journal of Project Management introducing the "Inter--Organizational Psychological Safety" (IOPS) framework. This methodology is designed to optimize team management within complex, multi--vendor enterprise projects by institutionalizing "Cross--Boundary Trust Protocols." Unlike traditional internal team management models, IOPS provides a structured approach to maintaining psychological safety across disparate corporate cultures and contractual boundaries. The study demonstrates that projects utilizing IOPS protocols experienced a 20% reduction in "Information Siloing" and a significant improvement in "Collaborative Problem--Solving" efficiency, directly enhancing the delivery performance of large--scale infrastructure and IT integrations.
