Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) has announced a significant expansion of its strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to construct the biopharma industry’s most powerful AI supercomputer. This facility will be the first in the life sciences sector to deploy NVIDIA’s next--generation Vera Rubin architecture and the BioNeMo Agent Toolkit. The new infrastructure is projected to provide 15 times the computational capacity of BMS’s existing systems, facilitating advanced drug discovery, molecular modeling, and genomic analysis at an unprecedented scale. NVIDIA expects to begin shipping the required Vera Rubin units in the fourth quarter of 2026.
