On October 21, 2026, Microsoft announced major advancements to its enterprise agentic artificial intelligence portfolio by introducing 10 new autonomous agents in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and expanding Microsoft Copilot Studio. The new Dynamics 365 agents are designed to execute and orchestrate complex business operations autonomously across sales qualification, customer service management, financial reconciliation, and supply chain monitoring. Microsoft also confirmed that full functionality allowing enterprise customers to build, deploy, and manage custom autonomous AI agents directly within Microsoft Copilot Studio will launch into public preview in November 2026.
