On August 10, 2026, researchers at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) published a study introducing "Recursive Knowledge Distillation" (RKD), a novel framework for maintaining organizational memory. RKD utilizes "Adversarial Knowledge Agents" to autonomously identify and resolve contradictions within massive enterprise datasets. By simulating debates between AI agents representing different data versions, the system distills conflicting information into a verified "Single Source of Truth." This research addresses the critical challenge of "knowledge decay" in the AI era, ensuring that Retrieval--Augmented Generation (RAG) systems remain accurate as organizational policies and data evolve over time.
