On November 2, 2026, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) announced a strategic and product cooperation agreement with Hangzhou--based Blue Vector Intelligent Technology to develop custom aviation battery solutions. Under the agreement, Blue Vector selected CATL as the exclusive battery partner for its Skyla V30, an all--electric, six--seat tiltrotor electric vertical take--off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft engineered for intercity passenger transportation. The partnership deepens CATL's commercial footprint in the electric aviation sector and China's emerging low--altitude economy, although the companies did not disclose financial terms, battery chemistry specifications, or commercial delivery timelines.
