On September 4, 2026, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) announced that its first commercial--scale production line for all--solid--state batteries (ASSB) has achieved a stable manufacturing yield of 85% at its Ningde facility. This technical milestone validates the scalability of the 500 Wh/kg cell technology, keeping the company on track for its 2027 mass--market integration schedule. Following the announcement, CATL's Shenzhen--listed shares (300750.SZ) rose 2.4% to close at 259.90 CNY, as market confidence grew regarding the company's technological lead in the next--generation battery sector.
