On June 8, 2026, RenShine Solar officially commenced construction of its 1 GW perovskite solar module production facility in Changzhou, China. This project represents the world's first gigawatt--scale manufacturing plant dedicated to all--perovskite tandem technology. Alongside the groundbreaking, the company announced a strategic procurement contract with a leading state--owned energy group for a 100 MW utility--scale pilot project. The facility aims to produce modules with efficiencies exceeding 24%, targeting a significant reduction in the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) for large--scale solar deployments.
