On September 12, 2026, TSMC and Intel finalized a strategic supply agreement for the fabrication of Intel's next--generation "Nova Lake" CPU tiles utilizing TSMC’s A14 (1.4nm) process technology. This multi--year contract, estimated to be worth over $4 billion, represents a significant expansion of the partnership between the two companies. By securing Intel as a lead customer for the A14 node, TSMC ensures early volume production and high capacity utilization for its most advanced lithography generation, which is scheduled for mass production in 2027--2028.
