On October 16, 2026, German government officials confirmed that Germany will unveil a strategic industrial artificial intelligence cooperation agreement with NVIDIA at the Invest in Germany summit in Berlin, scheduled for October 19–20, 2026. The initiative involves a public--private investment of several hundred million euros to expand compute infrastructure via Deutsche Telekom's Industrial AI Cloud. Under the partnership, NVIDIA will supply advanced AI chips and dedicated engineering resources to develop physical AI robotics and industrial foundation models alongside corporate partners including Siemens and Audi.
