On July 21, 2026, Microquanta Semiconductor announced it has secured a contract for the world's largest floating perovskite solar farm in Zhejiang Province, China. The 20 MW project will utilize the company's "Alpha--F" series of rigid, water--resistant perovskite modules, which have been specifically certified for high--humidity environments. The installation is part of a regional initiative to decarbonize industrial water reservoirs and is expected to reach full operational capacity by Q1 2027. This contract represents a significant scaling of perovskite technology from pilot projects to utility--scale infrastructure.
