On October 5, 2026, L3Harris Technologies announced that it received a contract from the Commonwealth of Australia under the LAND 4111 Protected Mobility Vehicle Technology Modernisation Program. Under the agreement, L3Harris will deliver an end--to--end Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) solution for in--service Command and Troop variants of the Australian Defence Force's Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles. The scope covers engineering design, systems integration, installation, and delivery to enhance tactical connectivity and interoperability, with execution taking place over the next three years at the company's Indo--Pacific Regional Support Centre in Pinkenba, Queensland.
