Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd. (TSXV: GMG) announced that it has commenced dispatching pre--commercial samples of its fast--charging G®CELLS graphene aluminium--ion pouch cells to potential commercial customers for early--stage testing and evaluation. Manufactured with GMG--produced materials from its Brisbane Battery Development Centre and assembled by the Battery Innovation Center of Indiana (BIC Indiana), the ~1.5 Ah pouch cells are designed for six--minute charging and target sectors such as defense and heavy mobile equipment. The company expects to supply over 100 cells before the end of 2026 to enable independent validation of fast--charge capability, cycle life, and energy efficiency while the technology remains at Battery Technology Readiness Level 4 (BTRL 4) under GMG's Joint Development Agreement with Rio Tinto.
