Electro Optic Systems Holdings Ltd (ASX: EOS) announced on October 9, 2026, that it has secured a landmark £370 million (~A$700 million) contract with a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member state to deliver a nationwide counter--drone defense system. Representing the largest contract in EOS's history, the agreement establishes the company as prime contractor and systems integrator for the rapid deployment of a cellular defense architecture powered by its AI--enabled NiDAR command--and--control (C2) system. Over 80% of contract revenue is expected within 12 to 24 months of becoming unconditional, with the remaining 20% tied to ongoing technical support over a four--year period.
