(NYSE: JKS) announced on May 27, 2026, the successful validation of its "Tiger Neo--K" module series, which incorporates a Kesterite (CZTS) thin--film layer to enhance its n--type TOPCon platform. This architectural shift addresses spectral limitations in the 300–500nm range, resulting in a certified module efficiency of 24.2%. The company anticipates that the transition to earth--abundant Kesterite components will significantly reduce manufacturing costs and supply chain exposure to silver price volatility. Commercial production is expected to commence at its Shangrao facility in late 2026.
