The ASEAN Society of Agricultural Economists (ASAE), in collaboration with Perbanas Institute and Universitas Paramadina, announced a specialized technical workshop titled "From Algorithms to Arable Land: A Hands--on Lab on Agentic AI for Food Security", scheduled to take place on October 28, 2026, at Perbanas Institute in Jakarta, Indonesia. Led by Professor Harya Damar Widiputra, the program focuses on deploying autonomous agentic AI systems—utilizing Retrieval--Augmented Generation (RAG), chain--of--thought reasoning, and multi--agent orchestration—to tackle climate volatility, farm productivity bottlenecks, and supply chain disruptions across regional agricultural ecosystems.
