Creotech Instruments S.A. (WSE:CRI) has signed a EUR 13.9 million contract with the European Space Agency (ESA) for the end--to--end delivery of the SAWA mission. This agreement represents a significant milestone as the first "mission--as--a--service" contract awarded to a Polish entity by the ESA. Under the terms of the contract, Creotech will serve as the prime contractor responsible for the design, construction, integration, and orbital operation of a nanosatellite based on its proprietary HyperSat platform. The mission's primary objective is to monitor space weather and solar activity to protect critical satellite and terrestrial infrastructure from geomagnetic storms. The contract also includes an option for a two--year extension of data transmission services valued at approximately EUR 1.9 million.
