Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd. (TSXV: GMG / OTCQX: GMGMF) announced on October 8, 2026, a major performance milestone in the development of its next--generation graphene aluminium--ion battery technology, developed under a Joint Development Agreement with Rio Tinto and supported by the Battery Innovation Center (BIC) in Indiana. Testing of GMG's 1.5 Ah pouch format G®CELLS achieved a 48% increase in energy density to 58 Wh/kg, reached 94% energy efficiency, and completed 1,000 charge--discharge cycles with zero performance degradation at a rapid 6--minute fast--charge rate (7C), doubling the cells' previously reported cycle life.
