On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the r/RKLB community is celebrating the milestone arrival of major Neutron flight hardware at Wallops Island, Virginia. Following their barge journey down the Chesapeake Bay from the Space Structures Complex in Middle River, Maryland, both the Stage 2 assembly and the Thrust Module have been successfully offloaded dockside and transported for arrival checkouts. Reddit members tracked the lift operations and photos of the unwrapped hardware heading into the Aerospace Integration Center. Rocket Lab confirmed that next steps include module--to--launch--mount interface checkouts and integrated fluids testing for the Thrust Module on Launch Complex 3 (LC--3), while Stage 2 will follow shortly on the adjacent test stand.
