Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENPH) announced on June 27, 2026, the launch of its "IQ9K" microinverter series, the first power electronics suite specifically optimized for Kesterite (CZTS) thin--film modules. The IQ9K features "Dynamic Impedance Matching" (DIM) technology that compensates for the variable shunt resistance often found in earth--abundant thin--film materials. This allows for a 4% increase in energy harvest compared to standard microinverters. Enphase stated that this product is a key component of its strategy to support the diversification of the global PV supply chain toward non--toxic, abundant materials.
