On July 1, 2026, Solid Power Inc. (NASDAQ: SLDP) announced the appointment of Uwe Breitweg to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Breitweg, who currently serves as Vice President of Powertrain, Emission, and Battery Strategy at BMW Group, joins the board as a Class III director succeeding Rainer Feurer. The appointment was made pursuant to BMW Holding B.V.’s director nomination rights and underscores the deepening strategic partnership between Solid Power and BMW as they collaborate on the development and automotive qualification of all--solid--state battery technology.
